Image size 24.1 x 20.3 cms

||Note from the Artist: In 1968/69, between school and university, I lived and worked for several months in London.
The Victoria and Albert Museum was within walking distance, and I made a number of paintings and drawings there.
The Museum had a policy of encouraging artists, providing chairs and help from the staff, for which I have always
been extremely grateful. It was a wonderful place to practise painting and drawing.
The painting is of a corbel from an unidentified building. The museum label read
"Sandstone, English, school of Herefordshire, middle of the 12th century".
I made the painting in 1969, and sold it in 1974. In 2017 I was contacted by the original
purchasers who have now decided to sell it, so it is offered for resale here.
